Run Week’s Schedule

Running without a crew:

This year, we plan to have the shuttle leave Cheaha State Park Tuesday afternoon to take runners to the Race Headquarters Hotel in Dalton. We will have a designated area for you to park at Cheaha State Park. You will need to reserve a seat on the shuttle and a hotel room in Dalton for Tuesday Night. Wednesday morning we will shuttle you to the start at “Need Too Feed” in Mill Creek. The shuttle fee will be $50.00. We will announce the host hotel as soon as arrangements are made. There is NO transportation back to the start in Georgia. Of course, you could run the Southern States 400 I suppose!

Runners with a Crew:

We will have a designated Host Hotel in Dalton, Georgia, about 5 miles from the race start at “Need Too Feed in Mill Creek. There are 13 major hotels on College Drive where the host hotel will be located. We will likely have a preliminary packet pickup at the host hotel Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday runner check-in may be required, depending on the number of runners entered.

Your crew may take you to the race start Wednesday morning. Parking is limited near the start and you may have to park away from the start and walk to Need Too Feed. We will have more details as we get closer.
